"was it a vision or a waking dream?" keats wonders in his poesy...so am i ..the entrance of guruji into my life was a dejavu experience for me. i came to know about guruiji in 2002 dec through rambabu. i felt some how its nothing new i m knowing but felt strange that it came from rambabu fo r i never knew him in to philosophy or spirituality till then.
after a long talk we decided about publishing guruji's speeches in english and transaltion of it into telugu. by then i was much into these readings on sufism, zen and so on. rambabu was happy for me and immediately said that i can be his ally in sudarsana jyothi too. i was elated.
he gave me some translation work of guruiji and though i was not perfect but the ardent devotion in me moved him.
we thought of working together. it was me who proposed to bring out that book. so we sought permission from guruji. he gave it and agreed for small corrections in englcish too ( editing some repetetions) and make the book. its then we got to name the book. guruiji has given us all permission to do it on our own.
and then it happened i saw guruiji even before i saw him physically. i just felt that a tall silhoutte figure was leading me on to a mountain and i knew this is not an ordinary dream and its not my fantasy. the next day we sat for naming the book. i was very shy to say anything rather i always consider myself less than others. its a trait of my personality i believe. i was asking ram to spell out the name , he said some names, i didint nod my head, but waiting that the right word would come out at the right time from the right person. he asked me to say. i did not say the name but said you can name it ram. all this had taken place in the beach of visakhapatnam , sitting near the statue of a telugu poet we re discussing . and then ram said , shall we name it elixir speeches or something like that i dont exactly remember the name. then immediately i asked him yes can u be more specific and
poetic, then i said i want the name sridhar in that title , then he said "SRIDHARAAMRITHAM" yesssssssssssssss
i was elated for thats the name in my mind and i m not bold enough to say it out. finally it came out through the horse's mouth haha i was joyous and really i was in tears of joy. we told guruji the name and he agreed. and the work went on.
and in this mean time we had a chance to go for one day to hyderabad. it was so fortunate a day for me ram came ruhsing asking me to get ready to take me to guruiji. and then we were on the way.
the first time i saw him believe me i did not feel that i m seeing him for the first time. he was saying so joyously about my letter to him , each word he was quoting and told me that he like my writing and expression. i felt honored..
after the pada namaskaram he said wait a minute and went inside and brought his cloth bag and took out a gold ring on which two white stones are designed as the letter S. he said he used it for 18 yrs and he wanted to give it to some one special and it was me that fortunate creature who got it.
and then one day i lost a stone in the ring...and then....how i got it back i ll tell u later .....contd,,...
I STRONGLY BELIEVE THAT THE GURU WILL FIND YOU AND COME TO YOU , IT IS NOT THE SISHYA WHO GOT TO FIND THE GURU, AND IT PROVED TRUE THAT GURUJI CAME INTO MY LIFE AS I WAS HAVING AN ARDENT FAITH THAT HE WILL COME INTO MY LIFE. ITS BECAUSE OF THIS YES, THIS IS AS GURUJI SAYS JANMANTHARA SAMBANDHA , YES ITS DIVINELY ORDAINED THAT WE COME TO GETHER AND IT HAPPENED SO.
WITH ALL MY LOVE FOR HIS HOLINESS GURUJI .....PROSTRATING AT YOUR LOTUS FEET .....urs jagada ( the name jagada was given by guruji only he calls me like that)
